Q. Who are you?
A. Woman, Indian, Lover and Truth. They are neither mutually exclusive nor overlapping.
Q. What is your native / mother tongue since Padmaja is an unusual name?
I don’t want my regional background to influence my readership, so ‘No Comments’
Q. Your name is Padmaja and your character’s name is also Padmaja, are these stories your personal accounts?
A. The stories are fiction. It is a coincidence that both my character and I have the same name. What’s in a name anyway?
Q. Why do you write so explicitly, is it cheap sensationalism?
A. I am no body to judge what cheap sensationalism is but if that’s what my writing comes across as, so be it. I write the way I write because I think there are many more ways to read, write, understand, talk about, research upon and perform sex than we can ever possibly think of. My intention is to make you think likewise.
Q. Are you on orkut or Facebook?
A. No.
Q. Can I have your pic?
A. No.
Q. Can I add you on Gtalk?
A. Yes. But don’t ping me if I have a busy status on, it is there for a reason. And don’t ask me the FAQs already answered here.
Q. Okay, what is the ID?
A. choudhury.padmaja
Q. Don’t you think your FAQs are cold?
A. Yes I do.
